Caspar Junker Building: Sandy’s “Fireproof” Landmark

Casper Junker Building Sandy, Oregon

After fire destroyed most of his wooden buildings in 1913, Caspar Junker rebuilt with reinforced concrete. His landmark 1914 building remains in use in downtown Sandy today.
